A 33-year-old Alton man was killed Friday night in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 67 near West Alton, Mo.
Arno Epps was driving northbound in a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina when his vehicle drifted into a 2007 Ford Edge in the right lane driven by Eva D. Jackson, 47, of Edwardsville.
Epps then lost control of his vehicle and drove into an embankment on the left side of the road. Epps was ejected from the vehicle.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded at 9:04 p.m. to the incident at U.S. 67 and St. Charles Road.
