Police were conducting a monthly "All Hands on Deck" patrol Friday night in Belleville.

Police stopped motorists on West Main Street between Sixth and 28th streets, and in the Illinois 159 and Illinois 13 area.

It's the city's fourth "All Hands on Deck" effort this year.

In October, police made 114 stops that resulted in 57 traffic citations, 92 warnings and 11 arrests.

The Belleville Police Department, Illinois State Police and St. Clair County Sheriff's Department conduct the patrols.
