Rotarians of the Year
Gloria Tialdo and Wayne Schlosser were both named Rotarian of the Year by the Rotary Club of Swansea. Tialdo is a charter member and Paul Harris Fellow. She has been a Rotarian for over 30 years. Schlosser is a 24-year Rotary veteran and Paul Harris Fellow. He is also a recipient of the Four Avenues of Service Citation, recruited 66 new Rotarians, has written and directed seven Rotary Foundation grants, awardee of six Rotary International Public Relations awards and is a past president of a Rotary Club.
Reunions
Pinckneyville Community High School Class of 1999 will host its 10-year class reunion at 7 p.m. Sept. 5 at Pheasant Hollow Winery, 14931 State Highway 37, Whittington. The cost is $20 per person.
