St. Paul's hosts picnic

To kick off the new Sunday School year, St. Paul United Church of Christ in Lebanon will host a picnic at 11:45 a.m. Sunday after the 10:30 a.m. service.

The theme is "God's Backyard Bash." There will be food, games, face painting, water slides, volleyball and a pinata. Bring lawn chairs.

'Youth Unplugged' in Troy

The Pentecostals of Troy, 312 S. Main St., Troy, will host "Youth Unplugged" at 6 p.m. Sunday. The youth of the church will lead in worship, and two young ministers, Sim Bradshaw and Chris Andrews, will speak.

This week is "There is a Snake in the Garden -- Genesis 3. The problem of evil."
