To kick off the new Sunday School year, St. Paul United Church of Christ in Lebanon will host a picnic at 11:45 a.m. Sunday after the 10:30 a.m. service.
The theme is "God's Backyard Bash." There will be food, games, face painting, water slides, volleyball and a pinata. Bring lawn chairs.

Summer forum comes to end
The final part of the six-week special summer forum will be held Sunday in the Parish Hall of St. George's Episcopal Church, 105 E. D St., Belleville.
