* May 15, 1995: No. 5429: Sets placement requirements for mobile homes.
* May 9, 1996: No. 5557: Rezoned historic district in and around the Oakland Historic District from two-family to single-family; petitioned by the Oakland Neighborhood Association.
* Dec. 2, 1996: No. 5661: Rezoned part of the Hexenbukel neighborhood from two-family to single-family; petitioned by the Highland Neighborhood Association.
* May 6, 1997: No. 5737: Rezoned parts of the Hexenbukel neighborhood from multi-family to single family; petitioned by the Hexenbukel Neighborhood Association.
* May 20, 1997: No. 5741: Rezoned part of the Hexenbukel neighborhood from two-family to single-family; petitioned by the Hexenbukel Neighborhood Association.
* August 8, 1997: No. 5783: Rezoned Jackson Street area from multi-family to single-family; petitioned by neighborhood residents.
* March 2, 1999: No. 5957: Rezoned southeast quadrant of city to single-family.
* Feb. 8, 2000: No. 6082: Rezoned to single-family the area near the MetroLink Station on Scheel Street between Benton and Bristow streets.
* May 2, 2000: No. 6131: Removed multi-family dwellings as permitted uses in one area of the city.
* June 20, 2000: No. 6149: Rezoned area fronting Centreville Avenue and State Street from two-family to single-family.
* June 20, 2000: No. 6150: Rezoned area fronting Washington and Garfield streets from two-family to single-family.
* June 20, 2000: No. 6151: Rezoned area fronting Mascoutah and Portland avenues from two-family and heavy commercial to single-family.
* Nov. 6, 2001: No. 6344: Rezoned area fronting Missouri Avenue, Iowa Avenue, East Main Street, East A Street and East B Street from two-family to single-family, petitioned by the Oakland Neighborhood Association.
* Nov. 6, 2001: No. 6345: Rezoned area fronting North Florida Avenue, Iowa Avenue, East Main Street, East A Street and East B Street from two-family to single-family, petitioned by the Oakland Neighborhood Association.
* May 17, 2005: No. 6739: Removed two-family dwellings as permitted uses from an area of town.
* May 6, 2008: No. 7130: Retroactively changed the minimum residential lot size to 10,000 square feet.
