Flood-prevention measures taken by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have lowered Mississippi River levels to the point that replicas of two Columbus ships will be unable to dock at Alton Marina on Tuesday as planned.

The Nina and Pinta instead will be in Grafton, where they stopped Monday afternoon.

The ships will be at the Loading Dock in Grafton, 400 Front St.

Visitors are expected to be able to tour the boats from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
