Life Chain set for Sunday in Fairview Heights to oppose abortion

FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS -- The 17th Annual Metro-East Life Chain to oppose the ending of human life through abortion is scheduled for Sunday from 2-3 p.m. in Fairview Heights.

Participants will join hands to form a cross at Illinois 159 and Lincoln Highway (Highway 50) and pray for the nation to stop abortion.

Life chains will also be formed in the Illinois communities of Millstadt, St. Libory, Breese, Mascoutah, Nashville, Lebanon, Collinsville and Carbondale.
