Mouse Races set for Saturday

Mice will take to the track and run for the gold Saturday night to help raise money for area Special Olympics.

The Belleville Area Parent-Teacher Organization for Exceptional Children, a sponsor of the Special Olympics, will hold its annual Mouse Races at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 10 at the Knights of Columbus hall at 5420 Old Collinsville Road in Fairview Heights.

Tickets are $15 per person in advance. Beer and soda are included in the ticket price. Food is not provided at the event but attendees are encouraged to bring their own snacks. The event is for individuals 21 or older.

The Belleville Area Parent-Teacher Organization for Exceptional Children is a nonprofit organization offering year-round activities for children with mental impairments, their parents and teachers in Belleville and the surrounding area.
