Crisis Food Center

Published: November 18, 2011

Crisis Food Center gives people a five-day supply of nutritional food and extends services to all areas.

How to help

The most beneficial donation is monetary, because Crisis Food Center is able to buy discounted groceries from suppliers. For food items, the organization is looking for canned vegetables, canned fruit, peanut butter and boxed breakfast cereal. Other nonperishable food donations also are accepted.

Get in touch

Items can be dropped off between 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at 21 E. Sixth St., Alton. People interested in volunteering can call 462-8201.
