The East St. Louis chapter of Habitat for Humanity builds and rehabs homes for low- to middle-income families to help them become homeowners. Applications for homes will be taken starting Jan. 10. All work is done by volunteers.

How to help

If anyone wants to donate their time, materials, money or expertise to the organization, call the office at 271-1215. Specifically, the organization is looking for certified roofers.
