The Living Independently Now Center works with people who have all types of disabilities in St. Clair, Monroe and Randolph counties. It teaches them independent living skills, provides peer counseling and youth and family advocacy, and offers sign language classes and interpreters, computer literacy classes for adults with disabilities older than age 55 and computer skills training for the blind and visually impaired.
How to help
Donate assistive equipment in good condition such as shower chairs, wheelchairs, walkers, bedside commodes, mobility carts, etc.; like-new household furniture and computers; money; and attendance prizes, gift certificates and raffle items for health and job fairs and fundraisers.
