The All-Tournament team for the Belleville East Winter Classic consisted of five players from five different teams.
McCluer senior guard Demetrius Floyd was chosen as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
Floyd had 11 points in the Comets’ 64-57 win over Belleville East in the championship game on Saturday night.
Floyd had 15 points and two steals in a win over Collinsville and 11 points and six steals in a win over Belleville West in the Comets’ other two tourney games.
Filling out the rest of the All-Tournament team were: Daryn Foster of Collinsville, Austin Gilmann of Oakville (Mo.), Jaylon Owens of Belleville West and Malcolm Hill of Belleille East.
Hill had 15 points in the championship.
McCluer is the first St. Louis school to win the championship since DeSmet won the tourney six times from 1978-86.
