Belleville West High School graduate Kaitlyn Hill had a career night playing in her own backyard.
Hill, a 6-foot-3 junior center for Austin Peay, registered the first double-double of her career in the Governors’ 72-61 loss to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville on Monday night at the Vadalabene Center.
Hill scored 14 points and pulled down 13 rebounds in the game.
Hill entered the game having scored eight points this season, but she eclipsed that total with 10 points in the first half.
