Two of 18 establishments checked Tuesday night in Trenton, Aviston, Breese and Carlyle were willing to sell alcohol to minors, Illinois State Police said.

Store employees at the IGA at 491 E. Broadway in Trenton and at the Casey's at 149 W. Harrison St. in Aviston violated state law and sold alcohol to minors, according to the Illinois State Police report on the Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement survey.

Store employees Rachel Kuhn and Jacob Stone were each arrested for unlawful delivery of alcohol to a minor, a misdemeanor, and were released pending a notice to appear in court.

Employees at the following establishments refused to sell alcohol to minors after asking for identification:

Trenton: Casey's, Phillips 66 and the Shell station.

Breese: SuperValu, Shell station, BP gas station, Casey's and MotoMart.

Carlyle: Shell stations on 12th Street, Franklin Street and North 12th Street, BP gas station, IGA, CVS, SuperValu and WalMart.

The Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement project is funded by the Illinois Department of Transportation, Division of Traffic Safety.
