Swansea police search for homeless man wanted for criminal sexual abuse

— Police officers are searching for a man suspected of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in connection with an assault of a girl under 10.

Cedric C. Pollard, 50, was identified as the person sought by the police.

The reported abuse occurred Sunday evening inside a home in the 1700 block of Barbary Way. Pollard, who is homeless, had been allowed into the home.

Pollard was last seen in the area of Sullivan Drive and Llewellyn Road in Swansea about 7 p.m. Sunday.

He was wearing blue shorts and a black tank top. He is described as a black male, 5-foot, 5-inches, 150 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes.
