BELLEVILLE POLICE

FRIDAY, JULY 6

9:04 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- SWIC PSOP, 201 N. Church St. The maintenance supervisor reported at an unknown date and time, someone spraypainted the graffiti on the building at 201 N. Church St.

11:12 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 300 block of South 10th Street. The victim reported between 1 and 8 p.m., someone entered her unlocked vehicle and propety was stolen.

12:07 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 700 block of East C Street. The victim reported sometime overnight, someone entered her vehicle and property was stolen.

12:47 p.m. Illegal dumping -- Henry Rabb School, 1120 Union Ave. Two suspects were observed dumping tires in the school's dumpster.

2:03 p.m. Visitation interference -- 1700 block of Mascoutah Avenue. The victim reported his ex-wife failed to allow him to see their children per the court order visitation. The victim signed a non traffic citation against the suspect.

2:30 p.m. Vandalism -- 100 block of East Lincoln Street. The victim reported someone threw pudding on his vehicle from a passing vehicle.

7:47 p.m. Traffic stop, felony possession of cannabis -- First block of North 75th Street. The occupants were arrested during a traffic stop after being found in possession of cannabis. The occupants were transported, booked and held pending further investigation.

11:29 p.m. Burglary to residence, burglary to vehicle -- 100 block of North 78th Street. The victim reported between 8 p.m. and 11:05 p.m., someone burglarized his residence and vehicle. Two handguns, along with other property, were stolen from the residence.

saturday, july 7

12:34 a.m. Harassment by telephone -- 500 block of Freeburg Avenue. The victim reported she has been receiving threatening calls from an unknown subject.

9:24 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- First block of North Jackson Street. The victim reported someone spray painted graffiti on the wall of his business.

12:17 p.m. Disturbance -- 1600 block of Carlyle Avenue. The victim reported being pushed and shoved by suspect. Officers determined the incident occurred as a result of a road rage incident.

8:27 p.m. Retail theft -- Circle K, 10 South Belt West. Employees reported an unknown suspect took a bottle of alcohol and left the store without paying. One of the clerk swas able to retrieve the merchandise before the suspect left the scene.

10:40 p.m. Theft, unlawful use of credit card -- 900 block of North 17th Street. The victim reported the suspect took his debit card from his daughter's purse andmade purchases without his permission.

SUNDAY, JULY 8

1:29 p.m. Disorderly conduct, fighting -- Big Daddy's, 313 E. Main St. Christopher M. Hoeffken, 31, and Charlie W. Clark, 16, were arrested after they were observed in a physical altercation. Both subjects were transported, booked and released after posting bond.

1:57 a.m. Traffic stop, driving under the influence -- 2700 block of West Main Street. Kevin A. Bell, 27, was arrested during a traffic stop after he appeared to be intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests. Bell was transported, booked and released after posting bond.

8:28 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- First block of Patricia Lane. The victim reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle and property was stolen.

8:49 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- First block of Patricia Lane. The victim reported between 7:30 p.m. on July 7 and 8:49 a.m. on July 8, someone entered her unlocked vehicle and property was removed.

11:55 a.m. Disorderly conduct -- McDonald's, 906 Carlyle Ave. The victim reported the suspect made an inappropriate gesture to the victim. The suspect left the area and was not located.

12:54 p.m. Burglary -- 100 block of South 35th Street. The victim reported someone entered his garage and property was stolen.

3:10 p.m. Unlawful restraint -- 1100 block of Mascoutah Avenue. The victim reported she was forced into her vehicle by her ex-boyfriendin the 2400 block of Waverly in East St. Louis, and driven around East St. Louis all day until approximately 3 p.m. when the suspect drove her to Laderman Park. The suspect then exited the vehicle keeping the victim inside, telling her not to exit. The suspect later fled the scene and was unable to be located.

3:19 p.m. Retail theft -- Hollywood Tan, 5810 W. Main St. Tonya M. Veenstra, 39, and Curtis R. Kempf, 50, were arrested after taking merchandise from the business and not paying for it. Both subjects were transported, booked and released after posting bond.

6:08 p.m. Disorderly conduct -- 300 block of North Second Street. Ida Alverson, 56, was arrested after allegedly spraying the victim with pepper spray. Alverson was transported, booked and released with a notice to appear.

6:42 p.m. Burglary -- 2900 block of Mary Irens. The victim reported between 5 p.m. July 6 and Sunday, someone entered his residence, and a handgun along with other property was stolen.

8:10 p.m. Pedestrian check, possession of a controlled substance -- 1000 block of East Main Street. The suspect was arrested during a pedestrian check after being found in possession of a controlled substance. The suspect was transported, booked and transported to the St. Clair County Jail pending further investigation.

9:46 p.m. Fighting -- First block of North 8th Street. Stephen Harrison, 20, was arrested for fighting int he frist block of North Eighth St. He was transported, booked and released with a notice to appear.

MONDAY, JULY 9

2:06 a.m. Traffic accident, driving under the influence -- Douglas and North Illinois. Steven Gros, 46, was arrested after an accident in which he appeared to be intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests. Gros was transported, booked and held pending bond.

7:35 a.m. Aggravated assault -- 200 block of North 45th Street. The victim reported the suspect allegedly threatened her with a handgun.

10:32 a.m. Burglary -- 100 block of South 30th Street. The victim reported sometime overnight, someone forced entry to his garage and property was stolen.

1:17 p.m. Theft -- 200 block of Lebanon Avenue. An air conditioning unit was removed fromt he vacant property sometime within the last two weeks.

2:14 p.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. Store security reported reviewing the store video from Sunday and observing a suspect taking merchandise without paying for it.

3:58 p.m. Theft -- First block of North Ninth Street. The victim reported her son allegedly took property from her residence without her permission.

Rudolph V. Hyde, 54, of East St. Louis, warrant arrest by Fairview Heights police.

Thomas E. Oser, 61, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, operating uninsured motor vehicle and traffic accidents by Shiloh police.

Travis L. Withers, 24, of Venice, arrested on suspicion of resisting, obstructing or disarming a police officer by St. Clair County sheriff.

Kristin M. Palmer, 29, of St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis and suspended or revoked driver's license by St. Clair County sheriff.

Howard Gooden, 40, of Centreville, arrested on suspicion of illegal transportation, suspended or revoked driver's license, traffic violation and warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

MADISON COUNTY FELONIES

WEDNESDAY, JULY 11

Kimberly R. McManus, 33, of 3120 W. Chain of Rocks Road Lot 282, Granite City, was charged with two counts of burglary. McManus was spotted at 3:55 a.m. Wednesday allegedly attempting to break into a vehicle in the 1800 block of Roberta Avenue, Granite City. Officers found a bag she discarded that contained items linked to two vehicle break-ins at the Budget Motel, 3220 W. Chain of Rocks Road, Granite City.
