The American Legion baseball District 22 South Division playoff game between Fairview Heights and Smithton-Freeburg will be played at 7 p.m. today at Whitey Herzog Field in Belleville.

Team officials originally planned to move the game to Longacre Park in Fairview Heights, but instead have moved the game back to its originally planned location.

If Fairview Heights (24-8) defeats Smithton-Freeburg (8-14), Fairview will advance in the playoffs. Smithton-Freeburg, which already has one loss, must beat Fairview Heights twice to remain alive.

Highland travels to Alton for an 8 p.m. game today in the District 22 North Division playoffs.
