BELLEVILLE POLICE
THURSDAY, AUG. 23
7:57 a.m. Attempted motor vehicle theft -- 1000 block of Royal Heights Road. The vehicle owner/victim reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) forced entry into her vehicle and damaged the steering column in attempt to steal the vehicle. Property was reported missing from the vehicle.
8:18 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- 400 block of East B Street. The property owner/victim reported his tenant/suspect allegedly damaged the walls of the apartment. Detectives located the suspect, who was arrested and transported and held for investigation of other charges.
10:31 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- Cavo Communications, 48 Empire Drive. The vehicle owner reported sometime during the last 24 hours unknown person(s) entered his company vehicle and property was stolen.
3:07 p.m. Threats -- Children First Foundation, 1909 Dublin. The director reported she received a phone call from the suspect, in which the suspect threatened to kill several people.
6:09 p.m. Theft -- 300 block of North 39th Street. The victim reported between Aug. 17 and Aug. 23, unknown person(s) removed an air conditioning unit from the property.
5:07 p.m. Aggravated battery -- Town House Motel, 400 S. Illinois St. The suspect was arrested after an altercation in which he used a knife and cut the victim. The suspect was transported and held pending further investigation.
10:37 p.m. Burglary to residence -- 100 block of Blue Ridge. The victim reported between Aug. 20 and Aug. 23, unknown person(s) entered his unsecured garage and property was stolen.
ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES
FRIDAY, AUG. 24
Betty R. Rogers, 40, of 715 Tyner St., Salem, Ky., arrested on suspicion of unlawful methamphetamine trafficking and unlawful possession of methamphetamine on Aug. 21 by Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southwestern Illinois. Rogers allegedly brought at least 5 grams but less than 15 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine, for the purpose of delivery, into this state from Kentucky; and possessed with the intent to delivery at least 5 grams but less than 15 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine.
John R. Valle, 35, of 3847 Irma White Road, Marion, Ky., arrested on suspicion of unlawful methamphetamine trafficking and burglary on Aug. 21 by Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southwestern Illinois. Valle allegedly brought at least 5 grams but less than 15 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine into this state from Kentucky.
Brian M. Dyer, 18, of 4701 Bier St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of burglary and criminal damage to property on July 31 by Belleville police. Dyer allegedly entered a building, The New Freedom Church, a place of worship, at 2301 W. Main St., Belleville, with the intent to commit theft and damaged the church property, in excess of $300.
Quinn S. Brown, 31, of 9 Kings Court, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession with intent to deliver cannabis, unlawful possession of cannabis sativa plants on Aug. 21 by St. Clair County sheriff. Brown allegedly had in his possession a substance containing N-Benzylpiperazine; possessed with the intent to deliver more than 2.5 grams but less than 10 grams of a substance containing cannabis; and possessed not more than 5 cannabis sativa plants in the residence at 9 Kings Court, Swansea.
Anthony Bruce, 22, of 11 Jenine Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary on Aug. 18 by Belleville police. Bruce allegedly entered into the dwelling place of Jerome Neal, 409 E. A St., Belleville, with intent to commit theft.
Justin R. Beckman, 30, of 101 Coventry Drive, Apt. 10, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of theft on Aug. 22 by Belleville police. Beckman allegedly took property of LNV Corp., being an air conditioning system, total value in excess of $500.
Jonathan D. Dix, 32, of 216 Anna St., Swansea, arrested on suspicion of theft on Aug. 22 by Belleville police. Dix allegedly took property of LNV Corp., being an air conditioning system, total value in excess of $500.
Ronald A. Chinn, 50, of 306 Roselawn Ave., Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of driving while license is revoked, subsequent on Aug. 23 by Belleville police. Chinn allegedly drove a black 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle on 17th Street in Belleville, at a time when defendant's driver's license was revoked. Defendant had been previously convicted of driving while license is revoked on Dec. 5, 1996.
Charles L. Lewis-Alston, 17, of 2334 Richland Prairie Blvd., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery on Aug. 23 by St. Clair County sheriff. Lewis-Alston allegedly strangled Gregory Lewis, a family/household member, by impeding the normal breathing/circulation of the blood by applying pressure to Gregory's neck with his hands.
Keesha R. Baldwin, 37, of 3521 Fair, St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a controlled substance on Aug. 24 by Illinois State Police. Baldwin allegedly carried on her person a .380-caliber gun, at a time when she was not on her own land, or in her own abode, or fixed place of business had in her possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine.

Jacob H. Colliflower, 31, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, illegal transportation and four traffic violations by Illinois State Police.
Maria L. Jacinto, 35, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of illegal transportation, operating uninsured motor vehicle, no driver's license and illegal entry by Freeburg police.
Robert K. Kohen, 22, of Rocky Mount, Mo., arrested on suspicion of two counts of driving under the influence and traffic violation by Illinois State Police.
Caleb W. Seyler, 31, of Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of violation of orders of protection by O'Fallon police.
