Highly touted St. Louis Blues forward prospect Vladimir Tarasenko is expected to arrive in town this weekend and could be on the ice for informal workouts as early as Tuesday morning at St. Louis Mills, a source confirmed Friday.

The Russian prospect was the 16th overall pick in the 2010 draft. He had 23 goals and 47 points in 54 games last season in the Russian pro league, the KHL.

In the last four seasons, Tarasenko has 52 goals and 100 points in 176 games.
