BELLEVILLE POLICE
MONDAY, AUG. 27
1:19 p.m. Theft -- 1300 block of Orchard Street. The victim reported she had a delivery made to her house a couple of days ago, however she never received the item.
5:01 p.m. Domestic battery -- 100 block of Juniper. The suspect was arrested after he allegedly battered his wife. The suspect was transported and held pending charges. During a cell check at 7:20 p.m., the suspect aggressively leaned his head out of the cell and spit on the officer, leading to aggravated battery to a police officer charges.
5:20 p.m. Battery -- 1700 block of Mascoutah. A juvenile was arrested for battery. The juvenile was transported and later released to a parent.
6:27 p.m. Burglary to residence -- 3900 block of West Main Street. The victim reported someone entered his unsecured residence and property was stolen.
6:49 p.m. Battery -- Sullivan's Bar, 907 N. Illinois. The victim was allegedly battered by the suspect. The suspect was gone on arrival.
8:18 p.m. Burglary to residence -- First block of North 98th Street. The victim reported someone entered his unsecured residence and property was stolen.
9:45 p.m. Possession of a controlled substance -- Memorial Hospital, 4500 Memorial. The suspect was arrested at the hospital after being found in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. The suspect was transported, booked and later transported to the St. Clair County Jail pending further investigation.
11:05 p.m. Criminal trespass to real property -- 600 block of East Garfield. The vitim signed a nontraffic citation against her ex-husband, Matthew Summers, 33, for trespassing. Summers returned to her residence after receiving prior notice to leave and not return. Summers was transported and released after posting bond.
TUESDAY, AUG. 28
12:23 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- Eckert's, 951 S. Green Mount Road. The manager of the garden center reported someone cut a padlock off an ice chest and unplugged it causing all the stored bags of ice to melt.
1:01 p.m. Burglary suspect -- 1900 lock of Hawksbill Drive. Several Belleville officers assisted the Swansea Police Department and St. Clair County Sheriff's Department in searching the area for a suspect of a residential burglary, which occurred in Swansea venue, near the Memorial MetroLink station. The suspect was located, arrested and taken into Swansea police custody.
2:51 p.m. Attempted burglary to vehicle -- 100 block of North 81st Street. The vehicle owner reported between 1:45 and 2 p.m., someone damaged the lock on her vehicle's passener door in an attempt to gain entry.
9:31 p.m. Retail theft -- Moto Mart, 701 W. Main St. Employees reported the suspect took merchandise from the business without paying for it. The suspect fled before officers arrived.
10 p.m. Domestic battery -- 3600 block of Sheridan Street. The victim reported her ex-boyfriend allegedly punched her in the face during an argument. The suspect left on foot prior to officer's arrival.
ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES
MONDAY, AUG. 27
Frazier V. Waller, 19, of 1709 Kansas, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary on Aug. 26 by Cahokia police. Waller allegedly entered into the dwelling place of Melissa Wilbourn, 310 Isabell, Cahokia, with the intent to commit theft.
Dyllan A. Rojas, 18, of 504 S. 29th St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence, failure to stop after having an accident involving personal injury on Aug. 26 by Belleville police. Rojas allegedly drove a silver 2001 Pontiac Grand Am on South 74th Street, in Belleville, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol. Defendant, at the time of the commission of said violation was involved in a motor vehicle accident that resulted in the great bodily harm of Jacob Mordis, and said violation was a proximate cause of injury to Jacob Mordis. Rojas allegedly left the scene of an accident involving the vehicle he was driving, after that vehicle was involved in an accident at South 74th Street in Belleville, in which Mordis was personally injured as a result of that accident.
TUESDAY, AUG. 28
Lavalle H. Poole, 33, of 203 N. 8th St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance on Aug. 27 by St. Clair County sheriff. Poole allegedly possessed with theintent to deliver less than one gram of a substance containing heroin.
Stacy L. Barron, 30, of 12 W. Mill St., Apt. 3, Millstadt, arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct on July 29 by Millstadt police. Barron allegedly transmitted to Gary Reuter, a police officer for the city of Millstadt, a report that the offense of domestic battery had been committed, knowing at the time of such transmission, that there was no reasonable grounds for believing that such offense had been committed.
Keith W. Kellogg, 47, of 104 Juniper, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery of a peace officer, two counts of domestic battery, on Aug. 27 by Belleville police. Kellogg allegedly made physical contact with Lt. Ron Sprinz, in that he spat in Sprinz's face and chest of knowing Sprinz to be a peace officer engaged in the performance of his duties; allegedly made physical contat with Stephanie Kellog, a family/household member, in that said defendant struck Kellogg in the face with his hand and with a golf club.
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 29
Courtney D. Fuller, 18, of 308 Donna Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, retail theft on July 13 by Fairview Heights police. Fuller allegedly had in her possession a substance containing, N,N-Dimethyltryptamine and Alprazolam; allegedly took merchandise from Gordman's, 81 Ludwig, Fairview Heights, being a belt, total retail value not in excess of $300.
David J. Hayes, 51, of 928 West Clay, Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence on Aug. 1 by Fairview Heights police. Hayes allegedly had in his possession a substance containing Oxycodone. Hayes drove a 1995 Chevrolet 2500 Truct on Illinois Route 159 in Fairview Heights, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol.
Barbara J. Langley, 50, of 7 Grand Ave., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on Aug. 3 by Fairview Heights police. Langley allegedly had in her possession a substance containing Hydrocodone.
Robert B. Mims, 33, of 3745 Michigan Ave., Apt. 1N, St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of forgery on June 13 by Fairview Heights police. Mims allegedly delivered to US Bank, 6701 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, a document apparently capable of defrauding another, in that it was spurported to have been made by another, a representative of Titlemax of Granite City, said document being a check, drawn on the US Bank, dated June 12, payable to Robert Mims in the amount of $5,000 and signed as drawer Joy Young, knowing the document to have been thus made.
Michael D. King, 23, of 1340 Piggott Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlwful use of a weapon, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on July 25 by East St. Louis police. King allegedly carried concealed on his person a .22 caliber rifle at a time when he was not on his own land or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, uncased, loaded and immediately accessible. and the defendant was on the real property of public housing being the John Robinson Housing, 1200 Market Ave., East St. Louis, the defendant had not been issued a current valid FOID Card.
Stephen L. Shepherd, 53, of 123 Homeless, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful failure to register as a sex offender on Aug. 23 by St. Clair County sheriff. Shepherd allegedly failed to notify registering law enforcement agency of change of address, in accordance with the provisions of the Sex Offender Registration Act, with the Sheriff of St. Clair County, on a weekly basis, as the defendant lacked a fixed residence at the time of this offense, and the defendant had been previously convicted of Sex Offender Registration Ace being Unlawful Failure to Register as a Sex Offender on May 11, 2000.
Charlie Brooks, 22, of 1400 Missouri Ave., Bldg. D1, Apt. 1009, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary on Nov. 17, 2011 by Centreville police. Books allegedly entered into the dwelling place of TEnisha Cozart, 508 Alabama, Centreville, with the intent to commit theft therein.
Kelli S. Ferrell, 33, of 1601 Central Ae., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of escape and obstruting identification on Aug. 23 by St. Clair County sheriff. Ferrell allegedly committing the offense of escape, while having been charged with the offense of Obstructing Justice from Madison County, intentionally escaped from the lawful custody of Deputy James Hendricks, a peace officer for the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department; allegedly furnished a false name to Mark Wagner, a peace officer, who has lawfully detained said defendant.
Cory A. Gehrs, 21, of 207 E. Third St., O'Fallon, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery in a public place on Aug. 24 by O'Fallon police. Gehrs allegedly in committing battery, and while Kayla Gehrs was at 14712 Princeton, a public way, allegedly made physical contact of an insulting nature with Kayla Gehrs, in that he pulled Kayla Gehrs' hair.
Daniel B. Khoury, 21, of 172 Glendale, Columbia, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on July 15 by Southwestern Illinois College. Khoury allegedly had in his possession a substance containing 1-(5-Fluoropentyl)-3-(4-methyl-a-naphthoyl)indole (MAM-2001, a 3-(1-naphthoyl) indote compound.
Zachary I. Page, 36, of 201 S. Benton St., New Athens, arrested on suspicion of deceptive practice between Feb. 26, 2009, and Sept. 17, 2009, by New Athens police. Page allegedly with the intent to defraud and the intent to pay for certain property of Tammy Birkner, being U.S. currency, allegedly delivered certain bank checks to Tammy Birkner, drawn on the Regions Bank, payable to Tammy Birkner, in the amounts of $111,500 and $1,780 and signed as drawer Zachary Paige, knowing said checks would not be paid by the depository, the total amount of said money he wrongfully obtained being in excess of $150, said offenses constituting a series of ats performed at different times in furtherance of a single intention and design.
Dustin E. Schlemmer, 23, of 5706 G Road, Centreville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possesison of a controlled substance on July 30 by Centreville police. Schlemmer allegedly had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.
