Because of an electrical issue with the lights at the football stadium, Mascoutah High School officials have decided to move their home game against Althoff scheduled for Friday night to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Mascoutah Athletic Director Fritz Holcomb said the switch had nothing to do with the weather. The game will be played at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mascoutah High.

* The Carbondale at Waterloo football game originally scheduled for Friday night has been moved to 4 p.m. Saturday at Waterloo.

The Murphysboro at Sparta football game scheduled for Friday has been moved to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Sparta.

* The Effingham at Centralia football game originally scheduled for Friday night has been moved to 2 p.m. Saturday because of weather concerns.
