Paul Ip and Helen Pohl are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Yardley Yu-Yan Ip, to Jason Pohl, son of RJ and Sharon Pohl of Marine, IL.

The bride-to-be graduated from Kennedy High School in Sacramento, CA in 1997, received her bachelors of science in electrical engineering from University of California, Davis in 2001 and her MBA from the University of Chicago in 2007. She is a senior product manager for Trulia in San Francisco.

The groom-to-be graduated from Triad High School in 1996, received his bachelors of science in computer information systems from Illinois State University in 2000. He is a senior software engineer for Guidewire Software in San Mateo, CA.

The couple will be married September 29, 2012 at The Fairmont in San Francisco.
