My father served in WWII. As an Army battalion surgeon, Dr. Francis X. Paletta was part of the Allied invasion force at Normandy Beach and was assigned to front line MASH units of the 35th Evacuation Hospital in Patton's Third Army. I believe it is my duty to serve my community and country, like my father did, in a capacity in which I am trained.
