Qualifications: I believe that I am qualified for the office because I am committed to saving taxpayers money. I have worked to do this by consolidating service within county departments, eliminating costly vendors and utilizing new technology. I also believe in being an elected servant, not enriching myself at taxpayers' expense. It is for this reason that I have returned pay raises and elected not to participate in the county pension program. I also believe that I am qualified because I am willing to work to maintain bipartisan cooperation. I believe strongly in putting people ahead of partisanship.

Top issues: What the people must decide in my race, is who will do a better job of administering the department. The county recorder's office operates on filing fees that are also a revenue source for other county departments and projects. People need to know that the person in the office is willing to work hard to ensure that the job is being done efficiently and effectively. I believe I have done just that.
