Qualifications: I have worked with legislators at the local and national level on a variety of issues during my work as a public policy manager for a national non-profit agency. I currently help guide and implement regulatory and institutional policies as a central university administrator in the area of research. I also serve as the president of a non-profit, RAVEN, dedicated to domestic violence prevention and intervention in the St. Louis region. I received my B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis and am currently working towards a graduate degree in business through Washington University's Executive MBA Program, which I expect to complete in 2014. Born and raised in Madison County, I am a taxpayer, homeowner, husband and father. The interests and concerns of my neighbors are largely the same as those of my family, and that is what compels me to run.

Top issues: Responsible, balanced budgets that ensure the county lives within its means while continuing to provide vital services to its residents. The residents of District 25 deserve representation by someone willing to speak up and out for their interests. And, when it seems as though a culture of shifting responsibility and finger pointing is the new normal, the county deserves board members who believe in accountability.
