Qualifications: At a young age I managed large projects as a superintendent in civil and highway construction. I learned what it means to take everything into consideration before starting a project, i.e. planning, foresight. I also learned what it means to stay within the budget numbers and how to manage multiple tasks to reach that objective. As the street superintendent of my town, I have learned the ins and outs of government and have seen where things can improve by using foresight before making decisions that will have long-term consequences. The ability to think things through before starting them is what most qualifies me for this office. I also believe that as a father of a young family, I know the difficulties facing our citizens. Their hard-earned money should be used efficiently and at the most benefit to them. Hard-working people like myself do not want to see their hard-earned money used to increase officials' salaries and benefit packages. They want to see their county improve, their schools improve and their services improve. I never ran for office before, but I believe that it is time to stand up for the hard-working families to keep this county a great place to live and to improve this county for the future.

Top issues: Freeze then reduce current tax levy. No pension or other benefits for county board members. No increases in salary for countywide officials or county board members. Transparency in county finances.
