Qualifications: I believe that my many years of experience working in government qualify me to serve the citizens of Madison County. I have been on the Madison County Board since 1999. I serve on the following committees: Executive committee, finance, transportation, storm water, tax cycle, and Southwestern Illinois Law Enforcement. I have been highway commissioner for Collinsville Township since 1985. I also served the public as a Collinsville Police officer for more than 23 years and retired as a sergeant. I was an auto body and rental business owner for more than 35 years. I have been a public servant most of my life and put the citizens first when making decisions.
Top issues: The top issues for Madison County are to keep finances in line while keeping services intact for our citizens. We need to continue to seek new business for Madison County which will increase our tax base and provide new jobs for the residents.
