Qualifications: I currently prosecute for the Village of East Carondelet, and I am endorsed by local law enforcement. I also have a very diverse legal background with more than 13 years' experience. I have represented international trucking companies in major accident litigation, national companies in toxic tort litigation and product liability cases, and I have represented individuals in premises liability cases and motor vehicle accidents. My commitment to ethics, honesty and hard work was instilled in me by my parents, and reinforced by my time serving in the Air Force in Desert Storm and the challenges I faced as I put myself through college and law school. A commitment to these values is what I plan to bring to the Randolph County state's attorney's office.

Top issues: The top issues the state's attorney's office faces are a return to honesty, integrity and fairness, and the growing drug problems within Southern Illinois communities. The favors elected officials extend to others from the state's attorney's office and the Randolph County Courthouse must cease. I will ensure that the state's attorney's office upholds the highest ethical standards, and that all who come in contact with the state's attorney's office are treated fairly and with the utmost respect. In addition, I will work closely with law enforcement to see that the streets of Randolph County are safe for our children and grandchildren by ensuring that all those who traffic and sell drugs in Randolph County are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
