Qualifications: For the past nine years I have devoted most of my career to the practice of criminal law. In December 2005, I was appointed the public defender in Randolph County. Since that time, I spend almost every day in the courtroom, defending nearly 1,600 cases ranging from murder to DUI. I am the only candidate who will provide the knowledge and skills necessary to make sure you and your family have a strong advocate in the courtroom to present your case from Day One. To this job, I would bring a strong work ethic, experience and high professional standards. Randolph County citizens should expect no less from their prosecutor.
Top issues: Experience. Being a prosecutor is arguably the most importance position in the courthouse. Most cases are decided and handled without the judge having to decide an issue. Randolph County deserves a prosecutor that is an experienced and proven trial advocate in criminal cases. With this experience I will work with law enforcement to curb a growing heroin problem and aggressively prosecute those who chose to break the law in this county.
