Education: Graduate of John A. Logan College

Previous offices: I served as a trustee for the Village of Rockwood for eight years and then I was elected clerk for the Village of Rockwood and have been serving in that capacity for four years

Qualifications: As a deputy circuit clerk to the circuit judge for 21 years my responsibilities have included: clerking in the courtroom; court records management; office management; working with budgets; working with the Illinois Supreme Court Auditor regarding the Randolph County Marriage Fund; Jury management; working with many judges, attorneys and the public. My many years of experience has prepared me to be circuit clerk and I would very honored to serve the citizens of Randolph County.

Top issues: Experience. To be a successful circuit clerk you must have a thorough understanding of the court system as well as the experience in dealing with judges, lawyers and the public. I will bring all of these qualifications to office of circuit clerk. My former employers as well as officers of the court know how important it is to have an experienced circuit clerk, and therefore, I have earned the endorsements of retired Judge Jerry Flynn, retired Judge William A. Schuwerk Jr. and retired State's Attorney Darrell Williamson.
