Virgil and Betty Dumstorff of Waterloo, IL celebrated their 60th anniversary on September 13, 2012 with a family dinner at the Shrine Restaurant in Belleville.

Virgil Dumstorff and the former Betty Oberdorfer were married September 13, 1952 by the Rev. Shaheen at Messiah Church in South Williamsport, PA.

Virgil is a retired line foreman with Illinois Power. He is a member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Church in Hecker.

Betty is a retired area trainer and visitor for the American Cancer Society’s Reach to Recovery Program. She is a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Belleville.

They have three children: Deborah Classen, Steven Dumstorff and David Dumstorff, all of Belleville.

They have two grandchildren: Nicole Classen and Matthew Classen.
