Four people are being treated at area hospitals following a vehicle crash on Interstate 55 south near Hamel, north of Edwardsville.
According to Illinois State Police, an ambulance and a semi-tractor-trailer collided just before 8 p.m. Monday. The ambulance rolled over as a result of the crash.
The extent of the injuries were unknown.
