Congressman John Shimkus, 12th District Republican nominee Jason Plummer and 13th District Republican nominee Rodney Davis will run the Italian Fest 5K race Saturday morning in Collinsville.

The race begins at 8 a.m. at the corner of Clay and Clinton streets, near the Collinsville Police Station.

The race will feature electronic chip timing, a live band at the finish line and post-race refreshments. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age group.
