Al Sr. and Jeannine Meinen of Belleville, IL celebrated their 60th anniversary on September 15, 2012 with a surprise party for family and friends at Fischer’s Restaurant, given with love by their children.

Al Meinen, Sr., and the former Jeannine Carnes were married on September 20, 1952 at St. Phillips Church in East St. Louis, IL. by Rev. John T. Fournie.

Al Meinen, Sr. is a retired manufacturing engineer manager from Electronics and Space Division of Emerson Electric and is active with country antiques, his family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jeannine Meinen is a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and is active with family and antiques.

They have three children: Chris (John) Weissenborn, Belleville, IL., Al (Cindy) Meinen, Jr., Troy, IL and Peggy (Mike) Crump, Troy, IL.

They have five grandchildren: Garrett (Jackie) Weissenborn, Brian (Nicole) Weissenborn, Candi Crump, Tony Crump, and Danny Crump. They have three great grandchildren.
