A town hall meeting will be held Tuesday for residents of Wards 6 and 7 in Belleville to discuss housing issues.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:30-8 p.m. in the gym of Douglas Elementary School, 125 Carlyle Ave., Belleville.

Staff from the city's Police and Health, Housing, Building and Zoning departments will answer questions about housing codes and how the city works to resolve housing issues.

Ward 7 Alderman Phil Elmore will moderate the question-and-answer event.

Ward 7 Alderwoman Lillian Schneider, Ward 6 Aldermen Paul Seibert and Dave Martinson and other city officials are invited.
