Richard and Charlotte Schifferdecker of Belleville celebrated their 50th Anniversary on September 22, 2012 with renewing of vows at St. John UCC Mascoutah, dinner followed afterward at Panorama Banquet Ctr., Belleville, IL with family and immediate friends.

Richard and the former Charlotte Juenger were married on September 22, 1962 at Westminster Place in St. Louis, MO. by Justice of Peace. Richard is a retired Senior Research Technician, Monsanto, Creve Coeur, MO.

Charlotte is a retired export international order clerk, Monsanto, Creve Coeur, MO and is active with St. John UCC, Red Hat Sweeties, Wednesday Nite Gang (Former Monsanto Workers), and volunteers with Christian Home Care Services, Inc.

They have three children: Christine Scheich (Ron Braunseis) Freeburg, IL, Steven Schifferdecker, Reno, NV and Karen Schifferdecker (Allen Goerl), St. Peters, MO.

They have 5 grandchildren: Kurtis Scheich, Julie Hayes, Julian Hairston, Megan and Adam Schifferdecker.
