Belleville blotter: Vandals cut convertible roof off man's car

Published: October 26, 2012

The following report appeared in the most recently released crime blotter by the Belleville Police Department:

THURSDAY

2:11 p.m. CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY - 300 block of E. Main St. The victim, a 23-year-old male, reported sometime between 11:10 p.m. and 1:45 a.m. unknown person(s) cut the convertible roof of his vehicle while it was parked in the 300 block of 300 East Main rear.

Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination. For more police blotter news, read tomorrow's print edition of the Belleville News-Democrat and return to bnd.com.
