A fire that destroyed a Cahokia bar is under investigation and is considered to be suspicious, according to firefighters.
The blaze broke out at about 6 a.m. at Road House 157, which is located on Camp Jackson Road.
According to reports, no one was believed to be in the bar at the time and there were no injuries. But the building is believed to be a total loss.
Five metro-east fire departments responded to the fire. Investigators have not yet said in what part of the building the flames started.
