The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

BELLEVILLE POLICE

FRIDAY, OCT. 26

8:32 a.m. Theft -- First block of South 19th St. The victim reported sometime in the last 24 hours Halloween decorations were stolen.

10:27 a.m. Attempted motor vehicle theft -- 3900 block of South Park Drive The victim reported sometime last night someone entered her gray Plymouth Breeze and attempted to steal the vehicle.

11:30 a.m. Disorderly conduct-- Belleville East High School, 2555 West Blvd. A juvenile student was arrested for fighting at school.

12:36 p.m.Retail theft -- Family Dollar, 4517 W. Main St. The manager reported an unknown male concealed merchandise and left without paying for the items. The suspect was gone on arrival.

2:26 p.m. Motor vehicle theft -- Oliver C. Joseph, 3795 West Illinois 15. A salesman reported he was showing a vehicle to two unknown males. The salesman stated he left the keys to a black 2013 Chrysler 300S inside the vehicle. While he was distracted by one of the males, the second male started up the car and, after the other male got in and sped away from the area. There were no registration plates on the vehicle.

2:15 p.m. Disorderly conduct -- Belleville East High School, 2555 West Blvd. Two male juvenile students were arrested by the school resource officer for fighting. They were released to their guardians at school.

7:55 p.m. Attempted theft -- Dollar Tree, 5831 Belleville Crossing. An employee/victim reported she observed a subject in the rear employee locker room rifling through her purse. The subject left the store after being confronted in the locker room.

8:21 p.m. Traffic stop, felony driving revoked -- South Illinois and Monroe. The suspect was arrested during a traffic stop after the officer discovered he was driving on a revoked license. The suspect was transported to headquarters, where it was discovered he had been previously arrested for the same offense. The suspect was held pending investigation of felony driving revoked.

10:51 p.m. Burglary to residence -- 600 block of North Charles. The victim reported between 12:30 and 10:40 p.m. someone entered his residence through the kitchen window. The only item taken was a handgun.

SATURDAY, OCT. 27

12:23 a.m. Aggravated battery -- 400 block of South First Street. Officers discovered the victim walking in the 200 block of South Illinois, without a shirt and covered in blood. The victim was highly intoxicated and uncooperative. Officers discovered possible stab wounds on the victim. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Officers made contact with a witness who stated she was with the victim, at a party located on South First Street, when he was stabbed by the suspect. Contact was made with the suspect, who stated the victim got into a physical altercation with several subjects at the party and was escorted off the property.

12:43 a.m. Traffic stop, arrest -- South Illinois and South Belt West. The driver was arrested during a traffic stop, after it was discovered he was wanted by Belleville police for investigation of an armed robbery that occurred on Feb. 11, 2010. The driver was transported to headquarters and held pending investigation.

8:11 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- First block of Highview Drive. The victim reported sometime overnight, someone threw a rock through the front window of the residence, causing the window to shatter.

9:15 a.m. Theft-- 500 block of North Fourth Street. The victim reported a vehicle tire and rim were stolen from her property. A neighbor witnessed an unknown male take the items about 9:15 a.m.

11 a.m. Pedestrian under the influence -- 600 block of West Lincoln. Angela Bryant was arrested after being located intoxicated in the public roadway. Bryant was transported to headquarters and held pending sobriety.

12:48 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- Project Compassion, 7707 W. Main St. The nonprofit reported sometime over the last 24 hours, the gas line on the company van had been cut.

2:09 p.m. Theft -- First block of Dale Allen. The victim reported sometime during the last two days, someone stole two pallets of roofing shingles from the property.

3 p.m. Deceptive practices-- First block of Ben Louis Drive. The victim reported in October he accepted two checks from the suspects. After depositing the checks in his account, they were returned stating insufficient funds.

3:30 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- 300 block of North 11th Street. The victim reported Carla Oneal, 40, backed her boyfriend's car into his shed several times causing damage. Oneal was issued a citation and released with a notice to appear.

5:35 p.m. Traffic accident, DUI -- 2700 block of West Main Street. The driver of a motorcycle attempted to beat a train to the intersection and struck the railroad crossing arm. The driver was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Pending further investigation.

5:18 p.m. Retail theft -- Radio Shack, 5791 Belleville Crossing. The assistant manager reported two unknown people entered the store acting suspicious. After helping other customers, the assistant manager discovered a lock was broken and a laptop computer was missing from the display.

7:05 p.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. Jamie Allen, 22, and Ashley Tipler, 23, were arrested after taking merchandise from the store without paying for it. Both subjects were held pending bond.

7:48 p.m. Occupancy violation, fugitive arrest -- 100 block of South 13th Street Officers responded to a report of a loud party. On arrival, officers made contact with Clareyta Kimbrough, 37, Michelle Cody, 18, and two other people. Kimbrough was issued an citation for allowing Cody to reside at her residence but not having her on the occupancy permit. Kimbrough was released with a notice to appear. Cody was issued a citation, for residing at the residence but not being on the occupancy permit. Cody had an outstanding warrant out of St. Clair County. Cody was issued a notice to appear and transported to St. Clair County Jail.

7:27 p.m. Aggravated battery -- Memorial Hospital, 4500 Memorial Drive. A nurse/victim reported being battered by the suspect, who was prisoner of Washington Park police, as he attempted to flee the hospital. The suspect was apprehended, transported to St. Clair County Jail and held pending charges.

SUNDAY, OCT. 28

12:54 a.m. Leaving the scene of an accident, DUI -- 7200 block of West Main Street. Jeremiah J Zang, 35, was stopped after an officer observed his vehicle hit a flower pot and continue to drive away. Zang appeared to be intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests. Zang was transported to headquarters and held pending bond.

3:32 a.m. Drunkeness. -- West Washington and South Sixth Street. Curtis Johnson Jr., 21, was located highly intoxicated. He was transported to headquarters where he was later released.

12:58 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 500 block of Portland. The victim reported sometime overnight, unknown suspect(s) broke the front passenger window of her gray 2003 Mazda Tribute, and property was stolen.

2:32 p.m. Animal complaint -- 800 block of Scheel Street. The reporting party stated a brown and white pit bull, which belongs to a neighbor, attacked his daughter/victim's cat, while it was on the front porch.

3:30 p.m. Burglary to vehicle-- 500 block of East D Street The victim reported unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked tan Mazda Protege and property was stolen.

7:42 p.m. Suspicious vehicle, resisting and obstructing -- West C and Voss Place. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officers made contact with the driver. The driver pulled away after she was advised to turn the vehicle off and exit. The vehicle was located on Voss Place, where the driver exited the vehicle and was located at the rear of a residence in the 200 block of Voss Place. The driver, Crystal Moore, 25, resisted officers and refused to comply. Moore was tased to gain compliance. Moore was transported to headquarters, where she was issued nontraffic citation for resisting and obstructing and released with a notice to appear.

7:23 p.m. Traffic stop, possession of drug paraphernalia -- 900 block of East Main Street. David Wayne, 23, was arrested during a traffic stop after being found in possession of drug paraphernalia. Wayne was transported to headquarters and held pending bond.

8:20 p.m. Battery -- First block of Appletree Lane.The victim reported when she dropped off a friend's child at the residence, she was struck on the back of her head and left side of her face with a closed fist by the suspect. The victim signed a nontraffic citation against the suspect for battery.

9:53 p.m. Residential burglary -- 200 block of North 45th Street. The victim reported between noon and 9:53 p.m. someone forced open the door to his residence and property was stolen.

MONDAY, OCT. 29

12:16 a.m. Residential burglary -- 200 block of Gettysburg. The victim reported that between 7 p.m. and 12:16 a.m. someone broke out a rear window to his residence. Once inside property, along with two handguns, were stolen.

12:20 a.m. Disorderly conduct -- 400 block of East A Street. The victim reported Eugene Smith, 26, was texting his wife saying he was going to fight the victim. Smith came to the residence and was trying to get the victim out of the house to fight. Smith was taken into custody and transported to headquarters, where he was later released after posting bond.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

FRIDAY, OCT. 26

Larry S. French, 35, 420 S. Seventh St., Caseyville, was arrested Sept. 29 for driving while driver's license is revoked, subsequent, by Caseyville police. French allegedly drove a Ford Ranger on Old Caseyville Road in Caseyville at times when his driver's license was revoked. Defendant had been previously convicted driving while license is revoked on Jan. 16, 2009.

James Thevary, 54, of St. Louis, Mo., and Dupo Fuel Mart Inc., 511 Falling Springs Road, Dupo, charged with unlawful delivery of controlled substance, unlawful possession with intent to deliver controlled substance, unlawful possession with intent to distribute a look-alike substance, sale of drug paraphernalia, permit unlawful use of a building, maintaining a public nuisance and ordering for sale misbranded article by St. Clair County sheriff.

Mahmoud A. Bedwan, 27, of Belleville and Max One Stop, 1319 N. 17th St., Swansea, was charged with unlawful possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a place of worship, unlawful possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, unlawful possession with intent to distribute a look-alike substance, sale of drug paraphernalia, permitting the unlawful use of a building, maintaining a public nuisance and offering for sale a misbranded article.

Ramonte K. Gibbs, 21, 5500 Bonita Blvd., Fairview Heights, was arrested Oct. 25 for aggravated domestic battery and aggravated battery by Fairview Heights police. Gibbs allegedly strangled Aprena Nelson, a family/household member. Defendant also allegedly pulled Nelson, a pregnant person, into a car.

Carl Davis Jr., 28, 321 California, St. Louis, was arrested Oct. 26 for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and driving under the influence by Fairview Heights police. Davis allegedly knowingly carried in a vehicle a .45-caliber handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode or fixed place of business. Defendant also allegedly drove a 2005 Acura MCX on Market Place in Fairview Heights while under the influence of alcohol.

Bart M. Grissom, 33, 1750 Roosevelt Ave., Belleville, was arrested for theft under $500, subsequent on Oct. 24 by Belleville police. Grissom allegedly knowingly exerted unauthorized control over property of Haier Plumbing. The defendant had been previously convicted of retail theft on May 20, 2007.

FRIDAY, OCT. 26

Travez A Winters, 19, of Cahokia, was arrested on a warrant.

Justin A. Porter, 19, of East St. Louis, was arrested on a warrant.

Norman E. Pensoneau, 35, of Belleville, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, fleeing or attempting to elude police, and two violations of the state traffic code.

Brittany M. Hargis, 20, of Granite City, was arrested on a warrant.

Laquinta D. Townsend, 26, of Venice, was arrested on a warrant.

John O. Billops, 29, of Washington Park, was arrested on a warrant.

Keith A. Watkins, 47, of East St. Louis, was arrested on a warrant.

Jameal D. Spencer, 25, of Centreville, was arrested on suspicion of violating an order of protection and a parole violation.

Montrell D. Spencer, 18, of East St. Louis, was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass to state supported property and a warrant.

Darius D. Tillman, 24, of East St. Louis, was arrested on suspicion of the unlawful use of a weapon and a warrant.

Mahmoud A. Bedwan, 27, of Belleville, was arrested on suspicion of manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance.

Dacia N. Williams, 34, of Belleville, was arrested on suspicion of theft over $300 and a probation violation.

Phillip S. Hibbler, 28, of East St. Louis, was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass to land, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving without a license and a warrant.

Eric W. Siemsen, 29, of Scott Air Force Base, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery.

Jesse Lawrence, 53, of Fairmont City, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Antwon J. Tompkin, 19, of Caseyville, was arrested on a probation violation.

Ramonte K. Gibbs, 21, of Fairview Heights, was arrested on a domestic battery.

Clarence A. Hood, 43, of Millstadt, was arrested on an out-of-state warrant.

Carl Davis, 28, of St. Louis, was arrested on suspicion of the unlawful use of a weapon.

Charles J. Swan, 31, of Caseyville, was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to property.

Robert C. Crane, 27, of Caseyville, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Michael Rogers, 29, of Swansea, was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and resisting, obstructing or disarming a peace officer.

Melissa A. Cheatum, 43, of Florence, Ala., was arrested on an out-of-state warrant.

Lamar D. Brown, 22, of East St. Louis, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery.

Morris E. Edney, 53, of Caseyville, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and resisting, obstructing or disarming a peace officer.
