BELLEVILLE POLICE
MONDAY, OCT. 29
12:16 a.m. Residential burglary -- 200 block of Gettysburg. The victim reported that between 7 p.m. and 12:16 a.m. someone broke out a rear window to his residence. Once inside property, along with two handguns, were stolen.
12:20 a.m. Disorderly conduct -- 400 block of East A Street. The victim reported Eugene Smith, 26, was texting his wife saying he was going to fight the victim. Smith came to the residence and was trying to get the victim out of the house to fight. Smith was taken into custody and transported to headquarters, where he was later released after posting bond.
9:45 a.m. Supplemental-criminal trespass-arrest --First block of West Washington. The suspect, a 23-year-old male, was arrested for criminal trespass that occurred Sept. 6. The suspect was transported to headquarters and held pending possible felony criminal trespassing charges.
5:30 p.m. Retail theft --Schnucks, 5720 North Belt West. The suspect, a 44-year-old male, was arrested after concealing merchandise and leaving the store without paying for it. Officers responding to the area located the suspect, who dropped the merchandise before attempting to flee. The suspect was transported to headquarters and held pending further investigation.
7:11 p.m. Violation of an order of protection -- 1100 block of North 39th Street. The victim, a 37-year-old female, reported she has an order of protection against her husband, a 34-year-old male. The victim stated the suspect had been observed driving past her residence at least three times today. The suspect was later located and arrested. The suspect was transported to headquarters and held pending further investigation.
7:44 p.m. Battery -- 200 block of N. 44th Street. The victim, a 27-year-old female, reported Demond Sherrod, a 31-year-old male, struck her in her face during an argument. Sherrod was arrested, transported to headquarters and held pending bond.
8:22 p.m. Counterfeit currency -- 3600 block of West A. The victim, a 30-year-old male, a delivery driver for Li Chinese, reported the suspect, an 18-year-old female, attempted to pay for an order with a counterfeit $100 bill. When told the bill was counterfeit, the suspect took the bill and left the scene. The suspect was later located and the counterfeit bill was seized.
9:38 p.m. Violation of an order of protection -- 700 block of Texas. The victim, a 20-year-old male, reported the suspect, a 30-year-old male, showed up at his residence in violation of the order of protection. The suspect is currently dating the victim's mother and reportedly lives at the residence periodically. The suspect was gone on arrival.
9:24 p.m. Traffic stop-possession with intent to deliver -- 1200 block of Lebanon Avenue. The suspect, a 34-year-old male, was arrested during a traffic stop after being found in possession of multiple bags of pre-packaged cannabis. The suspect was transported to headquarters and later transported to the St. Clair County Jail, held pending further investigation.
TUESDAY, OCT. 30
12:31 a.m. Domestic battery --1000 block of Royal Heights Road. The victim, a 25-year-old female, reported her husband/suspect, a 25-year-old male, arrived home intoxicated and possibly under the influence of a controlled substance. The suspect became aggressive with her during an argument. The victim stated the suspect allegedly struck her in the face with his fist before fleeing the residence. The suspect was located a short distance away. The suspect was arrested, transported to headquarters and held pending further investigation.
ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES
FRIDAY, OCT. 26
Larry S. French, 35, 420 S. Seventh St., Caseyville, was arrested Sept. 29 on suspicion of driving while driver's license is revoked, subsequent, by Caseyville police. French allegedly drove a Ford Ranger on Old Caseyville Road in Caseyville at times when his driver's license was revoked. Defendant had been previously convicted driving while license is revoked on Jan. 16, 2009.
James Thevary, 54, of St. Louis, and Dupo Fuel Mart Inc., 511 Falling Springs Road, Dupo, were charged with unlawful delivery of controlled substance, unlawful possession with intent to deliver controlled substance, unlawful possession with intent to distribute a look-alike substance, sale of drug paraphernalia, permit unlawful use of a building, maintaining a public nuisance and ordering for sale misbranded article by St. Clair County sheriff.
Mahmoud A. Bedwan, 27, of Belleville and Max One Stop, 1319 N. 17th St., Swansea, were charged with unlawful possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a place of worship, unlawful possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, unlawful possession with intent to distribute a look-alike substance, sale of drug paraphernalia, permitting the unlawful use of a building, maintaining a public nuisance and offering for sale a misbranded article.
Ramonte K. Gibbs, 21, 5500 Bonita Blvd., Fairview Heights, was arrested Oct. 25 on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery and aggravated battery by Fairview Heights police. Gibbs allegedly strangled Aprena Nelson, a family/household member. Defendant also allegedly pulled Nelson, a pregnant person, into a car.
Carl Davis Jr., 28, 321 California, St. Louis, was arrested Oct. 26 on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and driving under the influence by Fairview Heights police. Davis allegedly knowingly carried in a vehicle a .45-caliber handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode or fixed place of business. Defendant also allegedly drove a 2005 Acura MCX on Market Place in Fairview Heights while under the influence of alcohol.
Bart M. Grissom, 33, 1750 Roosevelt Ave., Belleville, was arrested on suspicion of theft under $500, subsequent on Oct. 24 by Belleville police. Grissom allegedly knowingly exerted unauthorized control over property of Haier Plumbing. The defendant had been previously convicted of retail theft on May 20, 2007.
MONDAY, OCT. 29
Dustin J. Brown, 21, 311 Clarence St., Collinsville; Rafael Ochoa, 17, 510 Bernice, Collinsville; and Alfredo Rios-Salto, 20, 303 Clarence St., Collinsville, were arrested on suspicion of mob action Oct. 25 by Fairview Heights police. Brown, Ochoa, and Rios-Salto allegedly disturbed the public peace and threw beer bottles at the motor vehicle of Francisca Trejo causing damage to the vehicle.
Jason E. Patton, 35, 15 Sandridge Drive, New Athens, was arrested on suspicion of driving while license revoked Oct. 26 by Belleville police. Patton allegedly drove a black 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe on South Illinois in Belleville at a time when defendant's driver's license was revoked.
Robert C. Crane, 27, 707 George St., Caseyville, was arrested Oct. 27 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on a suspended license by the St. Clair County Sheriff. Crane allegedly drove a 2000 GMC Sonoma truck on Hollywood Heights Road in Caseyville while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and at a time when his driver's license was suspended.
Abriana M. Neeley, 17, 300 Sundew Drive, Belleville, was arrested Oct. 26 on suspicion of aggravated battery of a victim 60 years of age or older by St. Clair County Sheriff. Neeley allegedly caused bodily harm to Carolyn Neeley, a person over the age of 60 years, in that she struck Carolyn Neeley in the head with a glass dish.
Derrik M. Henry, 24, 1809 Jamestown Road, Swansea, and Yvonne S. Dennis, 20, 4211 Beech Run Road, Columbus, Ohio, were arrested Oct. 26 on suspicion of retail theft by Fairview Heights police. Henry and Dennis allegedly took possession of certain merchandise offered for sale at Kohl's, 6109 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, being assorted jewelry, watches and children's clothing having a total retail value in excess of $300.
Serena A. Warren, 40, 42 Agnes Drive, Cahokia, was arrested Oct. 27 on suspicion of driving while driver's license is revoked, subsequent, by Fairview Heights police. Warren allegedly drove a white 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix in Fairview Heights at times when the defendant's driver's license was revoked. The defendant was previously convicted of driving while license is revoked on April 19, 2010.
Wayne R. Starz, Jr., 30, 145 W. Lorretta St., St. Louis, was charged with aggravated participation in methamphetamine manufacturing, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials by the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office. Starz allegedly assisted in the production of 900 grams or more of a substance containing methamphetamine Aug. 29 in a multi-unit dwelling.
Candace A. Christ, 25, 14346 Hummingbird Road, Okawville, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence, unlawful possession of controlled substance and endangering the health of a child by St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office. Christ allegedly drove a silver 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix on North Illinois Street in Fairview Heights on Oct. 11, 2011, while under the influence of cocaine with two female minors as passengers in the car. The defendant allegedly had in her possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine.
TUESDAY, OCT. 30
Curtis Alford, 44, of 2516 N. Frank Scott Parkway St. in Belleville was charged with retail theft-subsequent offense, by the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office. Alford is accused of stealing two bottles of liquor and two frozen pizzas from Schnucks at 5720 North Belt West on Monday.
Robert W. Schmiskie, 46, of 230 N. Madison St., Apt. A in Lebanon, was charged with domestic battery-subsequent offense, by the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office. Schmiskie is accused o f slamming a car door on Laura Schwahn, a family or household member, on Oct. 19. Schmiskie has been previously convicted of a domestic battery.
Howard C. Campbell, 30, of 1438 N. 44th St. in East St. Louis, was charged with aggravated battery. Campbell is accused of pushed Denise Wondolowski on Oct. 27 while at Belleville Memorial Hospital at 4500 Memorial Drive.

SATURDAY, OCT. 27
Terrance D. Miller, 24, of Black Jack, Mo., was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with driving while license suspended. Miller was transported to Madison County Jail and held on a $300 cash bond.
Diante A. Estall, 22, of Hazelwood, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of cannabis. He was transported to Madison County Jail and held on a $100 cash bond.
Bess A. Kellebrew, 32, of Livingston, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a traffic accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. She was transported to Madison County Jail and held on a $100 cash bond.
Korey A. Folbrecht, 18, of Alton, and Patrick M.D. Cirillo, 20, of Godfrey, were arrested on suspicion of unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. Folbrecht and Cirillo were transported to the Madison County Jail and held on a $100 cash bond.
Angela R. Folbrecht, 45, of Alton, was arrested and charged with six counts of permitting a violation of the liquor control act. She was transported to Madison County Jail and held on $600 cash bond.
FEDERAL COURT
MONDAY, OCT. 29
Shaun Murphy, 45, of Alorton, pleaded guilty in federal court to unlawful possession of a firearm by a previously convicted felon. Murphy is scheduled to be sentenced at 11 a.m. Feb. 22 at which time he faces a maximum potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000 and no more than three years probation.
