All sex offenders checked Halloween night in Belleville were in compliance with state laws, according to a check by the Belleville Police Department.

Police checked 33 child sex offenders residing in Belleville. None had their exterior lights on and none were participating in the Halloween holiday between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from Belleville Police Capt. Don Sax.
