The Cardinals have announced that hitting coach Mark McGwire has left the club to take a similar position with the Dodgers.
According to ESPN, the deal with Los Angeles isn't complete yet.
But McGwire, who lives near LA, apparently tired of being away from his family during the long baseball season.
The Dodgers fired their hitting coach at the end of the season.
