The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Belleville police

Thursday, Nov. 1

Carlton D. Gilmore, 33, of Apple Tree Lane in Belleville was arrested on suspicion of driving while license is suspended subsequent offense, a class 4 felony. Bail set at $5,000.00.

Michael S. Buss, 1012 LaSalle, in Belleville was arrested for suspicion of domestic battery subsequent offense, a class 4 felony, and unlawful restraint, a class 4 felony. Bail was set at $10,000.00.

Friday

Police responded to a burglary to a residence in the 9600 block of West Main Street. The property manager reported between Oct. 23 and Nov. 2, the residence was entered by unknown person(s) and electrical wiring and copper piping was removed. Entry was gained through the rear door.

Police responded to a report from Belleville East High School at 2555 West Blvd. on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. School staff reported observing a drug transaction on school property. The suspect, a 17-year-old girl, was arrested. During a search of her property a controlled substance was located. The suspect was transported to headquarters and later transported to the St. Clair County Jail, where she was held pending further investigation.

A domestic battery was reported in the 400 block of East D Street. The victim, a 38-year-old man, reported his 34-year-old girlfriend came home intoxicated and began arguing with him. The victim stated the suspect became physical and came at him and threw pans and dishes at him. The woman swung a wooden board at the victim and missed, falling over a sawhorse injuring herself. The suspect was treated at an area hospital, then transported to headquarters and held pending further investigation.

* An aggravated assault was reported at Carlyle Avenue and West Boulevard at 10:12 p.m. Officers responded to the area of Family Video on Lebanon Avenue for a report from a witness, who observed a male in possession of a gun in a green Ford Mustang. The vehicle was located in the 4100 block of Shirley Drive, occupied by two people, an 18-year-old male and 18-year-old female. A toy airsoft gun was located in the vehicle. Interviews were completed and the two were released.

Criminal trespass/criminal damage to property -- 11:06 p.m. in the first block of North 98th Street. The victim reported her ex-boyfriend, Donald Mathis, 33, showed up at her residence shortly after she left. When she returned a short time later, Mathis had kicked in the front door and was found inside, cursing at the victim's children. The victim called 911 and Mathis fled on foot. He was located a short time later on State Street. Mathis was arrested, transported to headquarters and held pending bond.

Saturday

A woman reported a burglary to her vehicle in the 400 block of North Church Street at 10:50 a.m. The victim reported an unknown person entered her vehicle, by unknown means and went through the glove box.

Police responded to the report of a domestic battery at 10:52 a.m. in the first block of Highwood Drive due to a boyfriend, 43, arguing with his girlfriend, 37, over text messages the girlfriend had received. The woman told police she wouldn't let him see the texts he slapped her in the face. The suspect fled the scene in the victim's car before police arrived.

A 38 year-old woman reported a domestic battery in the 1000 block of LaSalle between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m. She reported her son, 22, got angry with her and pushed and choked her. The son was arrested, transported to headquarters and held pending charges.

A woman, 40, reported her former boyfriend, 30, assaulted her after he got mad when she broke up with him. The incident happened in the 200 block of North Eighth Street at 1:44 p.m. The woman told police he clenched his fist, pulled his arm back and attempted to swing at her, placing her in reasonable believe she was about to be punched. The suspect was gone when police arrived.

A man reported someone burglarized his pickup in the 300 block fo East E Street at 10:12 p.m. The victim reported someone entered his unlocked Sonoma pickup and stole property out of it.

Darci Plater-Sharp, 51, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence during a traffic stop at South Charles and East Garfield in 10:04 p.m. The police report states she appeared to be intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests. Plater-Sharp was transported to headquarters and later released after posting bond.

At 11:41 p.m., police responded to a report of large fight in the parking lot at Schatze's Bar at 2301 E. Main St. The fight involved at least 30 people. Officers were able to disperse the participants after a short time. From speaking with witnesses the antagonists were identified as Jeremy Fults, 27, Christopher Mercurio, 26, and two other subjects. Fults and Mercurio were arrested and transported to headquarters, where they were released with a notice to appear in court. The two other subjects were transported to an area hospital, where one fled the area.

A clerk at the Super 8 motel at 600 E. Main St. reported he was battered by a man he confronted for urinating the hotel's parking lot. The man charged at the clerk, 30, who was was knocked to the ground. Robert Brewer, 35, was arrested of suspected battery after police located him a short distance away. He was taken to police headquarters and released after posting bond.

A woman reported a residential burglary in the 1200 block of Wabash Avenue after she discovered there was property missing from her daughter's bedroom.

Police responded to a report of a domestic battery in the 4400 block of North Belt West. The victim, 28, reported her husband, 50, hit her with his fist as the two were driving on North Belt West earlier in the evening. The suspect stopped the vehicle and made the woman exit before driving off and leaving. The victim was treated by emergency medical personnel and taken to an area hospital for treatment.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI during a traffic stop in the 200 block of East A Street. Police reported she appeared to be intoxicated and failing field sobriety tests. The woman was taken to police headquarters and held pending possible felony charges. The passenger of the vehicle, Robert Brewer, 35, was issued a citation for allowing an unauthorized person to operate a vehicle. Brewer was released with a notice to appear in court.

Sunday

* The Belleville Fire Department responded to the report of a suspicious fire in the first block of South 87th Street just after 5 a.m. Witnesses observed the residence on fire and called 911. The fire was extinguished by the Fire Department, who notified the police of the suspicious nature of the fire.

* A woman reported that someone stole her debit card while she was at Office Max at 5858 Belleville Crossing. The victim stated her debit card was unlawfully used at several businesses in the area.

A 15-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of attempted residential burglary in the 1700 block of Mascoutah Avenue at 2:40 p.m. The juvenile was arrested after being spotting on the front porch of the victim's residence and was taken to police headquarters where he was held pending further investigation.

A 53-year-old man reported someone burglarized his vehicle in the 9700 block of West Main Street sometime between Oct. 30 and Nov. 4.

An 18-year-old man reported his father, 49, shoved him into a wall and then to the floor where the father continue to strike him multiple times with his fist during a heated argument at the residence in the 2100 block of Muren Boulevard. The father was arrested and held pending investigation.

Walmart at 2601 Green Mount Commons reported a retail theft at 6:22 p.m. when loss prevention officers reported seeing two men in the store in the liquor aisle stealing alcohol and attempting to leave the store. When confronted the two suspects fled on foot.

A 41-year-old woman reported her boyfriend, 41, battered her while the couple were in a verbal argument. The report of domestic battery happened at 5:45 p.m. in the 100 block of North High Street. By the time police arrived the boyfriend had already fled.

Megan Smalley, 26, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence during a traffic stop at South Illinois and Monroe at 2:15 a.m. Police report Smalley appearted to be intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests. She was taken to police headquarters where she was released after posting bond.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

THURSDAY, NOV. 1

Justin A. Hooker, 33, 3323 Booker T. Washington Road, Millstadt; James T. Papproth, 24, 1 St. Martin St., Belleville; and Erin A. Smith, 29, 3323 Booker T. Washington Road, Millstadt, were charged Oct. 29 on suspicion of unlawful possession of credit card by Washington Park police. Hooker, Papproth and Smith received a Global Fleet Card of Adam Romero, the cardholder from the control of Romero without the consent of Romero.

Myisha A. Parker, 28, 4 Carrel Court, Cahokia, was arrested Oct. 31 on suspicion of three counts of domestic battery, subsequent, by St. Clair County Sheriff. Parker allegedly made physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature with Lataza V. Fair, a family/household member, in that Parker pulled her hair, bit her hand and bit her on the breast. The defendant had previously been convicted of domestic battery on June 28, 2011, in St. Clair County court.

FRIDAY, NOV. 2

Freddie J. Tilmon, Jr., 21, 824 St. Monica Drive, Cahokia, was arrested Oct. 31 on suspicion of robbery by St. Clair County Sheriff. Tilmon allegedly took property, being a cellphone, from LaShecka Phillip, by the use of force.

Luke K. Skaggs, 18, 1701 Vandalia, Collinsville, and Justin A. Wegner, 18, 1404 Pine, O'Fallon, were arrested Oct. 28 on suspicion of two counts of burglary by O'Fallon police. Skaggs and Wegner allegedly entered Tee Time Lawn Care Inc., 1566 Frontage Road in O'Fallon, and Ron and Jo's Firearms and Sporting Supply Store, 1562 Frontage Road in O'Fallon, with the intent to commit theft.

Joseph H. Sinovic, 47, 29 South Point Drive, Fairview Heights, was arrested on suspicion of three counts of aggravated battery Nov. 7, 2011, by O'Fallon police. Sinovic allegedly caused great bodily harm to Donald Stowers in that he struck and/or kicked Stowers about the head and body.

Shane A. Kitterman, 34, 508 Williamsburg, Shiloh, was arrested Oct. 8 on suspicion of failure to register as a sex offender, subsequent, by Swansea police. Kitterman, a sex offender, failed to provide correct information regarding the address of his residence to the chief of police of Swansea. The defendant had been previously convicted of a violation of the Sex Offender Registration Act on July 19, 2005, in St. Clair County Court.

Carlton D. Gilmore, 29, 33 Apple Tree Lane, Belleville, was arrested Nov. 1 on suspicion of driving while driver's license is suspended, subsequent, by Belleville police. Gilmore allegedly drove a white 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer on West Main Street in Belleville at time when defendant's driver's license was suspended. The defendant had been previously convicted of driving while license is suspended on Jan. 15, 2009.

Jeremiah D. Johnson, 18, 1311 St. Stevens Drive, Cahokia, was arrested Nov. 1 on suspicion of residential burglary by Alorton police. Johnson allegedly entered a residence of Latoya Buchanan, located at 325 Greystone, Apt. A, Alorton, with the intent to commit theft.

Friday, Nov. 2

Davion L. Carey, 23, of Belleville, was arrested on two warrants.

Lee M. Drake, 47, of Fairview Heights, was arrested on a warrant.

Tamara N. Thompson, 28, of Washington Park, was arrested on suspicion of driving on a suspended or revoked drivers license, violating the Illinois traffic code and a warrant.

Khalid B. Malek, 18, of Cahokia, was arrested on suspicion of operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving without a license and violating the Illinois traffic code.

Lauren L. Chastain, 23, of Millstadt, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and violating the Illinois traffic code.

Michael L. Lambert, 31, of Lenzburg, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.

Cindy L. Summers, 22, of Freeburg, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.

Marco A. Ramirez-Jimenez, 21, of Collinsville, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving without a license, a warrant and violating three Illinois traffic codes.

Emerald C. Monroe, 26, of Belleville, was arrested on a warrant.

Yolanda D. Bynum, 52, was arrested on a warrant.

Gloria D. Baker, 51, of Collinsville, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.

Malcolm M. Morris, 49, of St. Louis, was arrested on two warrants.

Charles R. Hart, 38, of Collinsville, was arrested on two warrants.

Gregory Morgan, 17, of Belleville, was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary.

Tarvarshay V. Graham, 18, of East St. Louis, was arrested on a warrant.

Kevin Bergman, 34, of Cahokia, was arrested on suspicion of battery and disorderly conduct.

Robert E. Lee, 22, of Caseyville, was arrested on suspicion of retail theft.

Saturday, Nov. 3

Jaren E. Jamison, 24, of Belleville, was arrested on a warrant.

Albert R. Latimer, 50, of Dupo, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery.

Christina A. McGree, 34, of Centreville, was arrested on a warrant.

Ineka R. Ferguson, 28, of Ferguson, Mo. was arrested on a warrant.

Darius D. Dean, 33, of Cahokia, was arrested on a warrant.

Derez D. Flowers, 20, of Cahokia, was arrested on a probation violation and three warrants.

Justin R. Jordan, 31, was arrested on suspicion of a reckless homicide.

Frederick V. McWherter, 46, of East St. Louis, was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to property and criminal trespass to land.

Antywan D. Seawood, 34, of East St. Louis, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of criminal damage to property.

Anthony C. Wells, 20, of East St. Louis, was arrested on a warrant.

Kane D. Martin, 19, of Fairview Heights, was arrested on a warrant.

Steven B. Lykins, 27, of Caseyville, was arrested on a warrant.

Bobby J. Farmer, 33, of Belleville, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.

James L. Watts, 77, of St. Louis, was arrested on a warrant.

Rebecca L. Farmer, 48, of Belleville, was arrested on a warrant.
