On the Nov. 4 edition of 60 Minutes, Republican senate leader Mitch McConnell stated, "When President Obama was first elected, the Republican senators decided that he would only be a one-term president." If ignorance is bliss, this is one blissful fellow.
To make a statement like that two days before an election was just dumb, not to mention childish. The remarks made by many Republicans are what cost them the election. I admit I voted for Romney, although he had no economic plan, threatened to cut Medicare, Social Security and cut funding to PBS (doing away with Big Bird). This only tells me that the cause of America's problems is not President Obama, but childish actions of those in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
