As Yvonne and I leave Belleville after almost 40 years, we note that vitually everyone we encountered played a role in our great enjoyment here -- some to a degree which we can never repay. There are so many deserving special thanks, it would be unfair to even try to list them all.

As with any military parents arriving to a new place from overseas, our great concern was that our kids would be able to adjust. All three were able to enjoy some academic and athletic success thanks to the dedicated teachers and coaches at St. Teresa and Althoff. The support for the military here is second to none in the U.S.

Our departing wish is for that to continue along with strong support for favorite causes Big Brothers, the Community Interfaith Food Pantry and St. Vincent de Paul programs. Thanks to all of you for hosting us so graciously, for so long, in this special place.
