A downtown Belleville Mexican restaurant that suddenly closed last summer has reopened.
Tienes Hambre? (that's Spanish for "are you hungry?") at 100 N. High St. opened earlier this year where The Jug restaurant and bar had closed after decades in town.
Patrons of The Jug will not recognize the restaurant inside. The interior was gutted, refurbished, redesigned in a Mexican motif and painted in bright colors.
You can reach the newly reopened restaurant at 509-9044.
In Maryville, Randy's House of Bar-B-Que closed one of its restaurants but soon plans to open another. Closed is the restaurant at 2713 N. Center St. in Maryville, but another is coming soon on Troy-O'Fallon Road in Troy, possibly opening as soon as this week. Randy's House of Bar-B-Que is also at 2649 Northtown Way in Highland, which you can call at 654-1800.
Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon in O'Fallon has closed. There's no word on why Texas-themed restaurant at 1310 Central Park Drive suddenly shut its doors.

U.S. 50 next to Ambassador Flooring Co. Eichenlaub said the new business could open before the end of the month.
