Belleville blotter: Teen arrested for damaging mom's car, trying to bite officer

The following report appeared in the most recently released crime blotter by the Belleville Police Department:

Saturday

11:28 a.m. AGGRAVATED BATTERY- 1000 block of N. Charles. A juvenile, 14, was arrested after she damaged her mother's car. During the arrest, the juvenile pulled away, and attempted to strike one officer and attempted to bite another. The juvenile was restrained, handcuffed, and transported to headquarters. At headquarters the handcuffs were removed, her mother and Children's Home were notified.
