Justice for the little person in the Parker case

Published: November 13, 2012

Justice prevails and the little person emerges as the victor.

We have known Mary Parker for the past several years and can attest to her professionalism, dedication and overall character.

Thanks be to the members of the federal jury who had the foresight to render the judgment in her favor. (The jury found that the Madison County Regional Office of Education retaliated against her for filing a wage discrimination lawsuit.)

In retrospect, there were several additional documented factors that should have been taken into accord as it relates to the undue stress, mental anguish, embarrassment and harassment that she was forced to endure.

Once again, the various political and good-old-buddy system surfaced and an innocent person was victimized.
