CANTON, Mo. — The Lindenwood-Belleville men's basketball team saw their unbeaten streak come to an Tuesday night.
The Culver-Stockton Wildcats (4-1) handed the Lynx (5-1) their first loss of the season by scoring a 103-87 victory.
The 5-0 start to the season was a program-best for LU-Belleville, now in its third season.
Todd Starks has reached double-digits in all six games this season. He lead the Lynx with 31 points against the Wildcats. Deon Miner put up 17 points, scoring in double digits for the fifth time this season, while Brian Byrd contributed 11 off the bench.
LU-Belleville returns to action this weekend to play in the two-day Peru State Classic in Peru, Neb. The Lynx play host Peru State at 10 a.m. Friday and then tangle with Park University at 10 a.m. Saturday.
