A pair of East Alton men have been charged with felony burglary after they broke into a home under construction and stole builders' tools.
William M. Mundy, 27 of 527 Lincoln Avenue, and William L. Braun, 40 of 305 Bowman St., were arrested early Monday and charged Tuesday.
During the investigation, the tools missing from the burglarized home in the 600 block of Marsh Street in East Alton were recovered, according to Madison County Sheriff's Department Capt. Mike Dixon.
Both men were jailed on $60,000 bond each.
